GM to Compete Directly with Tesla

General Motors is launching the Chevrolet Bolt; their new electric car in 2017. This car is said to compete directly with Tesla’s medium priced electric car that is due out in 2017 as well. Not only will these two powerhouse car makers go against each other for the top-rated electric car but there will also be competition from other manufacturers such as Toyota which is already a major player in the electric car industry.

Tesla is encouraging GM as well as other car makers to be successful with their new electric car models since the more success that they achieve; the more credibility and support will be attained for the entire electric car category. This in turn benefits Tesla quite a bit more than any of the other companies because Tesla has been incurring large expenses to get the electric car category kick-started single-handedly but as other manufacturers join in, the expenses will be spread among others besides just Tesla. This not only includes designing and manufacturing but it also includes setting up franchised dealerships and building charging stations all along the East and West coasts.

As a matter fact, Tesla does not even consider themselves specifically a car company or manufacturer at all. They actually see themselves as an information company with a high-end computer that has a large number of unique car features. In other words, they kind of follow the same design as Apple stores did for personal computers.

Tesla has always been an innovator within the car industry and will continue to come of with new and exciting ideas and so will other companies such as GM since they are leaders in auto production but when it comes to needing a top tier auto transport company then all you need is Thrifty Auto Shipping, a true leader in their own right.
